Last produced for Japan's Takarazuka Revue last year by the Star Troupe, The Scarlet Pimpernel has been passed over to the Moon Troupe for a 2010 production, starting April 16!

I loved the Star version, so color me excited! I guess now's about the time to start saving up for the DVD.

I'm still trying to the first one. Over $100 just hasn't been available lately. Another troupe doing it means that the people who produce the revues like the material. So hurray!

Yeah, I got mine on eBay for a ridiculously high amount. I'm lucky I had the money at the time, and it was totes worth it at the time, but at this point I'll need a magical lamp to rub.

I've finally pieced together enough from YouTube and reviews to know what the major differences are and that I am impressed by woman playing Armand. But other than that, I just feel very mad at the world that this is my poorest period.
