The Resonance website was suffering from malware issues last summer, but it looks like it's been fixed up again and moved to a new domain. I can't tell if there are any significant updates or changes. Basically, it's a company that will write original or adapted songs for special occasions. The fees are kind of steep for some folks but it looks like the great way to commemorate once in a lifetime events.

I'm not lazy, but I'm slow when I'm busy. I've posted my finished fic Chauvelin's Persuasion to AO3. It has very minor revisions (mostly typos) and a warning about content. I have no idea about how to tag it yet, but hopefully it can live there. It hasn't been getting much viewing at the Pit, because it is a one-shot and doesn't get updated.

If you haven't read it, check it out. It's book-based and kind of harsh. Read the warnings, and let me know what you think.

There's a distinct lack of Pimpernel fic over there.

From the mailing list::

The Scarlet Pimpernel is being presented by Stadttheater Bremerhaven in Bremerhaven, Germany, now through 29 Jan 2010. The run began in early November. General Information in English. I announced it a few weeks ago as ending on Jan 9th, which may have been a typo on my part, or they've extended the run. This is an annual thing lhere. The cast is outstanding and very popular with local theater-goers.

The musical website has a list of future productions as far ahead as the schedules are known.

Last produced for Japan's Takarazuka Revue last year by the Star Troupe, The Scarlet Pimpernel has been passed over to the Moon Troupe for a 2010 production, starting April 16!

I loved the Star version, so color me excited! I guess now's about the time to start saving up for the DVD.

This is for fans of the musical mostly. I'm on a mailing list (managed by Yahoo! groups) the pretty much represents the remnants of the old fan club, The League. Peter Williams recently sent a message that he'd completed work on a scene and song list for the Takarazuka Revue production of Wildhorn's The Scarlet Pimpernel. I have to admit that just seeing that has helped me make more sense of the clips I've managed to see on YouTube.

Hurrah!

I'm going to say more in my journal, but I found Malcolm Jamieson at last! He has a channel on YouTube for reading his unpublished, original poetry.

Pardon me while I run around and squee loudly.

Here are some icons I made recently.

This is just something to share with people. I mostly make icons of Armand, because I have four role play journals that I need to keep fresh. I'm hoping that as people join up here, there will be more exciting things to share that don't depend on my limited artistic skills.
